After that, LOUDNESS, who had been active in Japan, embarked on their first tour in July 1983 on the West Coast of the United States and in Europe. It will be the first worldwide multiple-disc contract as a band. The album "THUNDER IN THE EAST", which was released worldwide to commemorate, ranked 74th on the US "Billboard" chart, which is unusual for a Japanese band, and has been on the chart for 19 consecutive weeks. It kept charting in. And during the US tour with Motley Crue, they achieved the feat of being the first Japanese band to perform on stage at Madison Square Garden. The follow-up album "LIGHTNING STRIKES" ranked 64th on Billboard magazine, surpassing the previous album.
